Fall River Casino Rally
[5/19/2010] - Attention members: There will be an important rally for the Fall River Casino on Wednesday May 26th @ 3:45 p.m. The support of all members who can attend will be appreciated. [5/18/2010] - Mayor William Flanagan said the proposed casino is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the cash-strapped city. He said it would create 3,000 to 5,000 permanent jobs, and another 1,000 to 1,500 construction jobs. link
Mass. House approves bill to add 2 casinos, slots
[4/15/2010] - House lawmakers have overwhelmingly approved a bill to license two resort-style casinos in Massachusetts and allow up to 3,000 slot machines at the state's four race tracks.
